Thank goodness the Queensland Government bowed to pressure from the Opposition and agreed to make flu shots free this year.

 

It didn’t take long and the staff were able to quickly check my records to let me know I was due for my next COVID shot and that I was also due for Whooping Cough as well, so I got three shots. (Two in the left arm and one in the right!)

 

Last year our state recorded over 90,000 flu cases and 300 deaths. This put an enormous strain on our frontline staff.
