I have partnered with Ferny Grove State High School (FGSHS) and with the Red Rose Foundation to install a Red Bench on the FGSHS campus.

Red Benches, like the one installed outside “Coffee on the Way” in Ferny Hills, are striking installations in the built environment and aim to raise awareness of domestic and family violence. The installation of a Red Bench at FGSHS will provide an opportunity for this important issue to remain visible and will be a conversation starter to “Change the Ending” of domestic and family violence.

The students at the school are raising funds for the Red Rose Foundation which runs the Red Bench Project. To this end, the students are running both a trivia night on 3 September and an online raffle which is live now.
