Congratulations to Gaythorne RSL and all the local organisations and schools who held ANZAC Day commemorations this year.

It is fitting that our local schools in particular, are making a major effort to observe this day with honour and reverence with Gallipoli Barracks sitting in the heart of the Ferny Grove Electorate and playing such an instrumental role in Brisbane’s North-West for over 100 years.

ANZAC Day is still growing year on year and affords our community the chance to stop, reflect on the sacrifice of the fallen Australian and New Zealand service men and women, and show our thanks to those who have served and are still serving today.
